Une ssoc a e Coi ors jRessaoe WILLIAM JAMES EVA SMITH Throughout man ' s life he has striven for perfection. We are aware of the fact that this is a goal that is seldom, if ever, reached. However, we, the co-editors, along with the editor and the entire Yearbook staff have uied to publish a book that would exhibit some indica- tion that we have been working in that direction. We hope that as you explore your ' 64 Blearer from year to year, that you will find en- closed, a treasure of pleasant memories that are lingering behind at our dear Alma Mater,. Alabama State College, Mobile Center. At this time, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to our Director, Sponsors, Editor, Staff, Faculty and Student Body for their enthusiastic co-operation in helping make this edition of the BLEATER a success. Une t oi or s Jli essaae ' y« It seems as though the two years that we have spent together here at the Mobile Center have gone by so rapidly until one hardly believes it is time to venture a little further. During these two years, there have been many influential and significant factors learned that will always be remembered and respected throughout our successful tour of life. It is hoped that this yearbook will bring back all the pleasant memories of our Alma Mater. Many interesting and happy hours have been spent in compiling this yearbook. It is with deep gratitude that I extend many thanks to you, the members of the Staff, Faculty Advisors, and Student Body for your splendid cooperation and guidance. It was through your hard efforts and work that this 1964 BLEATER was completed. So, in the same words that you have read or heard over and over again, but yet they never grow old - Thank You. There is a time in the life of every man that a decision must be made. This is our time to make a decision - whether It be right or wrong, a decision must be made. We must now put to good use the training we have received from our parents, and from our instructors here at the Mobile Center. What is your decision? If there were only one message I could give you in making your decision, it would be this: Put your hand in the hand of God and go forward, it is better than a light and safer than a known way. Yvonne Kennedy Editor-in-Chief
