Larrie Akers 1 s The scenes are laid in a small college town. liuthusiam runs high in the E f town and college as the day of the final and most important football game 4 g of the season approaches. Douglas Brown an expert at the game had entered f 1 college but a few days before the coming event. Through the Flirtations of 1 s a group of sorority girls, Douglas is induced to play. Phyllis Lane while f j playing this winning role creates a love romance with him. 5 F Marion Dayton, eighteen years of age and ward to Robert Preston a g I lawyer of forty summers has woven herself into his life and becomes a partner s s in the law Firm. To Marion he intrusts all. In his safe is a packet of valuable 4 I papers, including a second will which will disinherit Mrs. Brown, Qstep- f g mother of Douglasj and her daughter Louise of the Brown estate. g ' A plot is laid to get possession of the papers in Preston's safe, at a mask s : ball given by Marion, Louise wears a costume identical with that of her 3 l hostess. She deceives Preston, learns the combination of the safe and with 1 g the aid of Jack the Secretary of Preston, she secures the papersg not knowing 5 I however that they had been substituted for the original and are therefore I s worthless. The lmp, a freshman recognizes Louise in her flight. Preston 1 i enters and believing jack to be robbing his safe upbraids him. Marion ap- : j pears and to shield jack, assumes the guilt. The Imp, establishes Marion's 1 g innoccncy. Meanwhile the game has been won through the brilliant play f 1 of Douglas. He realizes that he admires Phyllis even though she has trifled K s with him. I s The closing scene is impressive of the manner in which age looks at g l youth.
