McCormick. The following quotes will fully verify the reasons for our choice. Mr. McCormick has every quality required to make a wonderful principal. Air- port has never had and never will have a principal with more patience and understanding for the student body. At last we have a man who is sympathetic to the students wants and needs. He always has time to listen and talk to you. He is the first principal we've ever had who has stuck his neck out to do every- thing possible for the student body. No matter what the problem is, big or small, he will always take time out of busy day to help you. It has been an even greater experience for our three exchange stu- dents. Andres, who is from Columbia, agrees “that this kind of exchange of students is the only way for young people of the world to understand each other. Tereza comes from Brazil and this is her first time out of her country. Her interests in coming here are to know the American life, American people, and to know well the English language. The third exchange student, Inmaculada, comes from Coumbia. Eachday, says Macu, I know new friends and I am learning a new language different than Spanish. This is very important for the medical profession I will be going to follow. Nothing in our material world can come from nowhere or go nowhere, nor can it be free: everything must be paid. 2. Government is never a source of goods. Everything Produced is proceed by the people, and everything that government gives to the people, it must first take from the people. our economic life has a source, a destination and a cost that 3. The only vakiable money that government has to spend is that money taxed or borrowed out of the people's earnings. When government decides to spend more than it has thus received, that extra unearned money is created out of thin air, through the banks, and, when spent, takes on value only by reducing the value of all monev savings and insurance. 4. In our modern exchange economy, all payroll and employment come from customers, and the only worthwhile |ob security is customer security, if there are no cus- tomers, there are no customers, there can be no payroll and no jobs. 5. Customer security can be achieved by the worker only when he cooperates with management in doing the thwigs that wm and hold customers. Job security, therefore, is a partnership problem that can be solved only in a spirit of understanding and cooperation. 6 hTmg ,h ? The productivity of the took - that is, the efficiency of the human energy applied in connection with their use - has always been highest in a competitive society in which the economic decisions are made by millions of progress-seeking individuals, rather than in a state-planned society in which those decisions are made by a hand- ful ot all-powerful people, regardless of how well-meaning, unselfish, sincere and intelligent those people may be CARLETON GLEN GOLF COURSE TOM LARKINS FORD Complete Transportation Headquarters L.T.D. •Elite Thunderbird Pinto Maverick Mustang II Torino Granada • Trucks Vans A-1 used cars and trucks Full factory authorized service Complete Body Shop Facilities 22675 Gibralter Road 1-75 Exit 29 Flat Rock CARLETON PHARMACY 1119 Monroe Street Carleton, Mich. 654-6252 Congratulations Seniors C.
