DEDICATION PAGE We, the class of nineteen hundred and fifty eight, would like to dedicate this annual to our faithful custodians who for five years have kept our school and surroundings in excellent condi- tion. You have put forth great effort in order to establish pride and confidence in this institution. We would like to show our appreciation by dedicating the 1958 Beacon in your honor. CHARLES SANDERS Beacon Editor In memory of Raymond L. Garthe who was born Janu- ary 7, 1921, at Suttons Bay, the son of Carl and Lena Garthe, and passed away February 15, 1958. Mr. Garthe was a physical science teacher at Airport Community High School for the last five years. He was married March 1, 1947, to Gwendolyn Stef- fens and is survived by the immediate family: His wife Gwendolyn; two sons, Glenn and Carl and three daughters Margaret, Sharon, and Wendy.
