M ww rts Department .M U h J Mrs. Lee Porcari's hobbies include needlepoint, sewing, and crafts. She received her B.A. degree from Salem College. Mrs. Francis Maddox received her B.A. degree in Music Education from Furman University and her M.A. in Music Education from U.S.C. She enjoys playing golf, swimming, and bridge. Mrs. Maddox's talent is playing the piano. Mr. William Ackerman enjoys fishing and any other water sport. He is an avid automobile racing fan. Along with playing the oboe, in the Columbia Philharmonic Orchestra, he is Presi- dent of the South Carolina Band Directors Association. Mr. Ackerman received his B.A. degree in Music Education from U.S.C. Mrs. Karen Mixon received her B.A. degree from the Universi- ty of South Carolina. She enjoys reading, skiing, and needlepoint. 4

Mr. H.V. Morrison enjoys playing chess, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoys reading science fiction. He received both his B.A. and M.A.T. degrees from the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Lou Wolfe is President of the State Council of Epsilon Sigma Alpha which sponsored the Bike Ride for St. Jude. Along with being an active member of ESA she also enjoys water sports. Mrs. Wolfe received both her A.B. and M. Ed. degrees from the University of South Carolina. Miss Connie Britt enjoys playing bridge, attending plays, and all types of music. She received both her B.A. and M.A.T. degrees from U.S.C. 251
