238 Mrs. Bettye Carlisle enjoys needlework, crocheting, knitting, sewing, painting, music, reading, and playing bridge. She spent her entire summer attending classes at U.S.C. Mrs. Carlisle received her A.A. degree from Montreat-Anderson Jr. College and her B.A. from Erskine. She is chairman ofthe English department, Mr. Thomas Carlisle received his B.A. degree from Erskine in English and history and his M.A.T. degree in history from U,S.C. Mr, Carlisle spent this past summer attending classes at Carolina. Mrs. Jame Adams enjoys cooking, ceramics, and needle crafts, She received her B.A. degree from Central Wesleyan College. Randall Corbin enloys hunting. fishing. and sports in general 3. Mrs. Stella Hudson as in charge ofthe canteen in the Student Center. 4. Colonel Thomas C. Finneran is interested in all sports, specifically handball, football, fishing, and shooting. His hobbies are photography, music, and woodwork. He spent his summer on a fishing trip in Minnesota.
