As principal of a school with over Fifteen hundred pupils and more than forty teachers, Mr. Rudolf is kept very busy in his administrative duties. LEADERSHIP Mr, George H. Van Ness, the assistant principal, has the responsibility of smoothing the relationship between the school and students. He can often be seen discussing the choice of books with 0 teacher, or checking in new ones because he is also in charge Of the distribution of them. Conferring with Mi: Rudolf on school poiicies, dis- cussing problem students with their parents and counselors, and bringing problems before the student body to be corrected are also part of his schedule, His previous experience as a counselor and OS a principal gives him a valuubie insight into a student's problems.
