'iw Students Strive for Physical Fitness, Coordination Participation in various sports were stressed so that the students developed skills, coordination and above all physical fitness. Aiea's spacious athletic field and equipment permitted a Wide variety ot' sports such as baseball. gymnastics and aquatics. Awareness of national and international problems facing us today were also key- noted in class discussions. Castodians, Cafeteria S tajf Perform Indispensable School Service Despite the increase in the size of Aiea High School, the Custodial Staff managed to keep Aiea an enjoyable place to learn. Tirimming hedges, Watering plants and weeding kept the staff extremely busy so the addition of another member greatly aided the staff in their efforts to keep the campus clean. In addition to serving daily lunches, which were both nutritious and tempting, sandwiches and desserts Were sold.
