to Investigate Intricacies of Life Through laboratory experiments and demonstrations science students proved theories, determined different character- istics of the various elements and in general learned more about the world we live in. The students were offered a wide variety of courses including Horticulture which was developed to stimulate the studentis inquiring mind. Ambitious stu- dents entered the Westinghouse Talent Search Contest in hopes of a scholarship. With this revised curric- ulum, students improved their daily work as Well as their examinations. Crumpled paper and used erasers represented many hours of hard and strenuous work. Stu- dents of Aiea High School competed with students from other schools in the Oahu Math League. Interested students also participated in the Annual High School Mathematical Examination for Secondary Schools of the United States and Canada.
