Golf Gokrs Combine Concentration, Practice, Patience on Putting Green Through diligent and consistent prac- tice, the Aiea Golf Team clinched a third place slot in the OIA standings. Coach Ed Kiyuna practiced daily with the golf team demonstrating the proper swing and most of all concentration and skill on the putting green. Although this first team was made up of underclassmen, their inexperience was overruled by the great amount of Alii spirit they displayed in their performance at games. The 1971 team discovered many promising athletes who will return next year to make the 1972 season even better. 209
