Trick-or-treating for UNICEF, decorating the Tripler Hospital Dining Hall during Christ- mas and serving as ushers for the Honolulu Theater For Youth were some of the service projects initiated by the club. Dances and picnics with social clubs of other schools provided opportunities for learning and socializing. A fund raising project for a club-banquet which highlighted a most enjoyable year for the Sirians was very successful. Since fifteen of the club members were- seniors, the events of the past year provided many fond memories for all.

Du Prells 'STO live is to love, to serve, and to ap- preciate served as the guiding motto for the members of the Duprells. In existence for five years, the Duprells learned to live life to the fullest through many surprise parties, socials and get-togethers. Many service projects such as trick-or-treating for UNICEF, trick-or-treating and collecting candy for the residents of Waimano Home, assisting in Project Clean-Up AHS, assisting with the Senior Scholarship Breakfast, and collecting money for the March of Dimes were some of the activities planned to help the club fulfill its motto to serve and to appreciatef, Two activities highlighted this last memo- rable year for the Duprells. First, a trip to the island of Kauai at the start of this school year provided many happy memories as the club was hosted by the Blue Angels and Corvettes of Kauai High School. The second highlight oc- curred on December twenty-six at the club's annual Christmas Banquet, which was held in the Pakalana Room of the Ala Moana Hotel. I 'F' Brian Nakamoto Allen Among Usala Mauga Wilfred Nishunura President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Stridells A co-educational club, the Stridells involved themselves by working together as a team in building a solid basis of friendship within their club and among new friends. Under the capable leadership of Brian Nakamoto and advisor Joyce Nakamoto, the club overcame many early organiza- tional problems. They planned a car wash and moonlight picnics. The fellow- ship and experience gained from these early activities gave the members the confidence they needed to complete plans for a funfilled year. A banquet which was held at the Ala Moana Ban- quet Hall climaxed this year of 'lfirstsw for the Stridells.
