Distributive Education Club Distributive Education indentifies a pro¬ gram of instruction which teaches mar¬ keting, merchandising, and management in the field of distribution. There are two phases of D.E. offered on the high school level: a preparatory marketing course, offered with the student ' s other academic subjects; and a cooperative distributive education, which trains boys and girls for careers in business. The primary purposes of the D.E.C.A. are to develop a respect for education in marketing and to promote understanding and appreciation for the responsibilities of citizenship.
