AHS Beta Club The purpose of the Beta Club is to encourage effort, to reward merit, to promote those quali¬ ties and actions which make for good citizen¬ ship; and to encourage and assist students to con¬ tinue their education after high school. The main project of the club is a chicken salad supper, the proceeds of which are used for financing the state convention trip and for schol¬ arships. Members also sponsor Tag Day, a drive for scholarships given to worthy students.
