In my first year as principal of AhoskieHigh School, I am very glad to be able to commend the entire stu¬ dent body for their cooperation, school spirit, and con¬ stant endeavors to honor the name of our school. I extend to the staff of THE CHIEF my congratu¬ lations for a job well done, and to all the school or¬ ganizations for their high standards of efficiency. It has been a great pleasure to work with and for you, and together, I believe, achieve a commendable amount of success, scholastically, as well as in extracurricular activities. In all my efforts in your behalf, I have tried al¬ ways to remember that we are teaching not so much subject matter as boys and girls, who will, I trust, make a great nation even greater in the coming years.
