As we consider suitable terms to employ in dedicating The Chief for 1958-59, two expressions suggest themselves as being es¬ pecially applicable to our dedicatee. For truly hers has been and is a life lived with malice toward none and charity for all. It maybe said of this teacher that none know her but to love her, none name her but to praise. To Miss Annie Laurie Sessoms, a noble type of good, heroic womanhood, the staff is privileged and honored to dedicate this yearbook with our love and our deepest ap¬ preciation for her outstanding service as teacher, guide, and friend.
