The Sfaff takes great pleasure in presenting to you the 1955 edition of The Chief. This yearbook represents the result of many hours of concentrated planning and work, and we sincerely hope that the result is satisfactory to all who have had a part in making this publication possible. As you will note, we have used for our theme the idea of footprints on the sands of time — Footprints up and down the corridors of Ahoskie High, in and out of its classrooms, romping across the shining floor of its gymnasium, shuffling along in line at the cafeteria, rushing eagerly out at the close of a school day — all these activities and many more which go to make up the life of a dynamic, pulsing institution, teeming with life and hope for the future — inoa word, the life of Ahoskie High School.
