PEP ASSEMBLIES by Amber White The chant of Seniors! Seniors! roar above the noise of a thousand screaming teenagers in our gym. Just when it seems that the noise is unbearableg the team enters and the decibels rise! This is a typical scene at any one of Agua Fria's great pep assemblies. As you look around the gym, there is a definite variety of expressions on people's faces as they listen to Steve Rogers, one of the captains of the foot- ball team, talk about the team's desire to win. As he talks, the tension builds in anticipation of class competition. Alicia McAnally comments, The pep assemblies are extremely loud, which obviously shows the entire school's sup- port for the football team. Agua Fria pep assemblies are certainly an enthusiastic way to pep up the team for the big game!!
