Hot to mention the fact that you are surrounded by the Roman Empire in togas. That's right, it's Homecom- ing! That wild and crazy week when you can dress almost any way you please and not get fit- ted for a straight jacket. Along with the thrill of dress- ing as nerds, Agua Fria is exper- iencing something that seems somewhat hidden during nor- From the shadows of the school-ground comes the overwhelm ing of school spirit and stomp an underclassman. All over the cam- pus, students are banding to- ideas for gether to discuss floats, hall decorations and ex- tra-curricular activities. The halls are filled with post- ers declaring the supremacy of various clubs and classes while a warehouse is engulfed in the smell of spraypaint and the sounds of hammers, saws and the latest gossip. The exhilarat- ing feeling of competition finds everyone. Senior class presi- dent Pascal Brown says, 'lTen- sions are high, but we're getting a lot done and having loads of laughs. How could anyone resist tak- ing part? ln the morning, classes are greeted by various re-run themes to get them in the Homecoming mood while, dur- ing lunch, they can partake in slightly unique noontime activi- ties. After school, floats are cre- ated right before your eyes! There is not time to lose the spirit. Junior Stacy Rose agrees, I love it! They keep us busy all the time in a fun way.
