r is ft 'af ,759 Around By Amy Tomlinson The campus is empty until eight a.m. Then, boom, all of a sudden the campus is swarming with teenagers. Some studying for a test, while the majority gossip and make plans for the upcoming weekend. When lunch time comes around students begin to liven up. Most students head for the cafeteria or McDonalds. Some other popular places for lunch are Pizza l-lut and Taco Bell. This seems to be the favorite time of day. Senior Jamie Mas- lyn said, l enjoy lunch because Campus I have time to do my favorite things- eat, socialize and get away from school. Senior Lisa Newcomb says, I like it be- cause it gives me a chance to relax and catch up on the latest gossip. Finally, the end of the day comes. The bell rings to go home. Chaos hits! The halls be- come congested. Voices carry across campus as students hurry to get home. But, before you know it the campus is peaceful or at least until the next morning. V and Katy are welcomed by their French Aaron's out to kill bed bugs! Katy strikes an odd pose. This year's fall production by the Drama Department was Our Hearts Were Young and Gay. The cast consisted of seniors Mary Kennedy, Jason Clark, Shannon Wilson, Tina Beyle, Pascal Brown, Charlette Dawsey, Tiri Chatfield, and Chip Jorgensen: Juniors Aaron Schnore, Matt Trumble, Marsha Bryan, Todd Daggert, Sarah Cohen, and Lanny Lighthillp and Sophomores Katy Mack, Brian McQuay, and Jamie Session. The play takes place during the summer of 1925. lt revolves around the comical adventures of two young ladies, played by Shannon Wilson and Katy Mack, on their first vacation alone. They have saved their money and are taking a cruise to France. During the cruise someone jumps overboard, Emily Kimbrough tplayed by Katy Mackj uses her fast thinking to save him, and throws a lounge chair over. lt hits him on the head knocking him out cold. After that the play is a series of similar events. Tina Beyle says, lt was great working on the play. The best part was that it worked out great! .,
