Mr. Orin K. Fulton is a biology teacher at Agua Fria and an ex- cellent one, but it is not lust for This that we commend him. His skilled and zealous coach- ing of Agua Fria's basketball team has brought recognition to our school in general, but his efforts last year brought honor specifically to us through our bas- ketball team when they won the State Class A Basketball Cham- pionship. His success with last team, and boys in general, is due to the fact that he strives to un- derstand each person with whom he comes in contact. He seems able to strike up immediate rap- port with almost anyone. Because of these facts and many more, we have chosen these men, respected and ad- mired by all who know them, to be the ones to whom we ded- icate the 1963 Wickiup. yea r's HA E BRoueHT HoNoR T0 uc? PAUL B ELL ln recent years, two men have been outstanding in their lead- ership of boys at Agua Fria. Their inspired guidance, thoughtful help, and enthusiastic encourage- ment have led many boys to bring honor and recognition to our school and its student body. These two men are Nlr. Paul Bell and Mr. Orin K. Fulton. Mr. Bell's influence extends over many, and each of those who have experienced his influ- ence have benefited by it. Though an agriculture teacher by profession, Mr. Bell's interests in helping boys learn to cultivate the resources of America's farm- land don't end there. He also sponsors the Agua Fria chapter of the Future Farmers of Amer- ica, and from under his guidance have emerged such state officers as Ivan Hunt, state president, who graduated in 1962, and Len- ny Rhodes, state reporter, who is a senior this year. ln state FFA team competitions, his boys have won recognition, too. . . . TO HONOR THOSE WHO Mr. Bell is shown here work- ing with some of his students out behind the agriculture shop. His domain includes animal pens, the enormous ag building be- hind the arts and crafts building, and the area where the FFA boys grow their crops.
