Before And After Two hearts that felt so much so long, Two hands that held so tight so strong. Two heads that kept we two apart, Two minds that joined from the very start. Two eyes to see things felt inside, Two ears to hear what our actions would hide. Each breath I took was not for me. But instead for the oneness that went with the we . Each moment I wanted only to spend with you. If But then as time went on one of us changed, The thoughts we had were not the same. We separated physically, yet as time passed by, We realized our love would never die. So we spent time together. yet apart we were, Would we get caught we were never sure. Each moment was Hlled with magic from the start, Yet each one shook with our pounding hearts. We knew we were cheating other people in our lives, But we didn 't seem to care and kept twisting the knife. Like thieves in the night, we stole each moment we could. Now you 're gone but the pain is still there, Yet those behind the back moments were the best That we shared. I don 't look back with regret or sorrow, But each day l wonder, will it happen again tomorrow? K errin Beeson You were there, You saw it happen You didn 't turn away, You stayed by my side. You hear my stories You were there, Even though I might have lied. l got in trouble. l was hurting really bad, Thought you wouldn 't be my friend, - Forever was l to be sad. But you said to me, Our friendship will know the drying of the sea. So' to my special friend, l'm with you now . . . l'll be there till the end. Carrie Curtiss These Are The Days High school days, golden days, Clnforgetable memories along the way. Faithful friends who are always there, Help make those teenage problems able to be Weekend adventures that never work out, Always turn out to be the best memories: Without a doubt. So many dreams, hopes, and visions. Bombard our minds to make difficult decisions. Time becomes reality. Childhood evolves into a fantasy. Times of trouble, times of sorrow, Force us to look ahead to our future tomorrow. But when it comes, will it ever replace Those golden-high school days we once Faced? By Camille Yates 11 th. Friends ' ' A shoulder to cry on An ear to bend. Money to borrow Clothes' to lend. Friday nights out dancing, Afternoon walks Being together, Our 'private talks . Needing one another Going out to lunch, A trip to the beach, With junk food to munch. Mending our hearts Crying those tears. Planning our futures Voicing our fears. Who drove me home the Hrst night of my new job? Who offered her hand, when I was most likely to fall? It is hard for me to grasp the fact that you are leaving me. ' Soon, your new life will have priority and this last year will be only a memory. All of our times, all of our laughter, our inside jokes, are they really going to be just recollections of the past Will the photographs fade? Will the songs be forgotten? No, true friends will never be outgrown for you taught me the meaning of a true friend. You gave me the greatest gift at the time l needed it most: friendship.
