C PLIISQ, f-ZGEVQ 19103 DEDICATION Home is the Hunter, home from the hill, and the Sailor, home from the sea could very well describe our recently retired Commanding'Ofticer, Com- mander Victor J. SIBERT. Sitting on the Fantail in the evening or standing on the quarterdeck or bridge, Captain SIBERT always had a smile, a good word or a fish story forthe crew. With the greatest respect, we sincerely dedicate this book to a man who made our long cruise seem much shorter, Commander Victor J. SIBERT-a hunter, G fisherman, and most of all, a sailor.
