music the music department’s three vocal groups: madri- gals. chorale, and girls' chorus, were kept busy from September to june by advisor mrs. mary callahan. the groups were most active during the winter months as they prepared for their january performance of “sing-out.” many chorale members also participated in the minstrel show, which replaced the annual spring operetta this year, led by president barbara di flumera, the chorale was also busy preparing for all- western mass, district chorus try-outs, in which fif- teen members were accepted, the three groups also combined to perform Christmas concerts at local nursing homes and shopping malls, adding to the fes- tivities of the Christmas season. “putt! to you too barbara! girls' chorus gives godspell their feminine touch. chorale tunes to the b flat school bell. valeric kinnell. lois borgatti. carlene perusse. karin strehl. pat morisset. barb di flumera. fran carmel: the chorale officers decide 36 on the new music.
