The long awaited day has come For us to bid adieu To teachers, homework, and to fun And to our old friends, too. We've worked and strived and laughed and cried, And now it's hard to part From those on whom we've oft relied, And make our own new start. We will not fail as on we glide Into our bright new life. For Faith and Hope will be our guide To ease us through our strife.
