oef1lXfaf as to y fl! fe rl Y, i-1- CLASS HISTORY In September 1954, 27 young recruits enlistcdin the Agar High School to wag in 4 years of w rfare against ignorance Mr Thompson was chosen Commander-h-chief Herman Joachim General and Louella Siebrasse lst Soon after the General was chosen and the battle got under way, a General Science bomb exploded, putting Raymond Otto and Mrytle Currier out of the fray Wayne Carr tired of Milltary l1fe and withdrew in favor of raising food stuffs for the army, so ended our first taste of flght ng The second year H138 Serum took her turn pilotlngmn through the strif aided by Ruben Joaehlm as General Hollis McGilvery and Chrlst Fischer d1d not return the second year due to lnjuries Charles and Helen Antrup l1kewise did not return, being taken captive by a rhml Army 1U Illinols Ralph Koch was disabled in the first few we ks of SkiFmiShlHg followed by Walter Joachlm later on in the year, FP3nC1S Nau hton joined our band to aid us 1n our campalgn of the Second Semester' but was wounded early ln the fight Robert Thomas was also disabled but later recovered and agaln served part f our tFlPd enllstment 1th us Margaret Hogan entered an expedition 1ntO Iowa and never returned Doris Lom hiem, Myrtle and Marvin Currier were captured by rival forces, so were not on hand in our third yearg enlist ment On the third year Mr Clapp was elected commander in chief asslsted by Charles B ehe as General by thls time the remainder of our divlslon vas one of Agarls crack troops, experienced in all manner of warfare against illiteracy Durlng this year no casualities were reported with the exception of Robert Thomas who Dorothy Braun entered another troop At the beginning of the ourth and last year of our enllstment there were twelve battle scarred veterans present to carry on, Hr Dalke served as an able and competent Com ander ln chief wlth heolla Siebrasse 1 neral Pon lly Todd Kas the last casualty suffered by the divislon of '58 leavlng eleven trust d II ers to carry on th fight These el v n hav achiev d their g al in a me pr iseworthy manner, but th y realize that there are new worlds to conquer nd new conqu sts to be m de 3 f c a . 0 o Il R . , lt. ,IVY V O D .
