Triumphant grand march Homecoming 73 The excitement of Homecoming week touches nearly everyone in Adrian High School. Each class must do its part in the celebration. Skits and posters are created by the mem- bers of grades 7-12. Dates for the dance and game were made—some far in advance and others only hours before the festivities begin. Little attention was paid to what the teach- ers discussed in class. Test grades were often not as high as they would have been a week earlier or a week later. Planning which began weeks before, became hectic. There never seemed to be enough time to get everything done. Yet everything was finished on time. Elections for King and Queen were held. Homecoming royalty candidates were chosen from the sen- ior class. Candidates for Homecoming were Rose Wolf, Pat Schutz, JoAnn Heitkamp, Deb Lynn, and Nadine Schissel. Candidates for Homecoming King were Stan Wieneke, Jeff Brake, Wes Henricksen, Jim Eickhoff, and Doug Loosbrock. Close to You Light My Fire! Sure wish we could go! 18 Hey! I did it!
