Council Provides Good Government for AHS The student council, the governing body of A.H.S., has the important job ot' making and enforcing activity policies for the 94 students of Adna High. This is a thankless, hut important job. Faculty advisor for the group is Walter lioundtree. Heading clockwise: Joyce Waltar, Connie Conrad, Yvonne Unterwegner, Janice Leonard, Lois Orloske, Joanne I-Zalsley, Sharon Leland, Bernice Mohoric, Mr. Roundtree, Tiny Smith, Bobby Smith, Johnny Long, Danny Scherer, Alan Waltar, Rocky Enbom, Glen Thompson, Jim Staftord. Conrad Leads Girls' League The Girls' League, repre- senting all the girls at A.H.S., was led through the 1954-55 year by the of- ficers pictured at the left: Bernice Mohoric, Repre- sentative, Mrs. Scherer, Advisorg Sharon Leland Sgt.-at--Arms, Fonnie Con- rad, l'i'esidentg Yvonne Un- terwegner, Vice-President, Lois Orloske, Secretary.

4 Orloske, Mohoric, Carroll, Unterwegner and Young Give AHS'ers First Rate Pep Staff Adna's pep staff, Bernice Mohoric, Lois Orloske, Jackie Young, Yvonne Unterwegner, and Jackie Carroll, rate 15 rah-s from the entire Adna student body. Q These girls not only planned, organized, and executed their yells and songs perfectly, but pro- vided cheerful pep leadership throughout the entire year. The fact that the three non-graduating members were re-elected for next year speaks for the popularity of the group. Both yell queens, Bernice and Lois, have served three years as pep leaders. Yvonne Unterweg- ner, song queen, has served three years, and Jackie Young has served two terms. Jackie Carroll, the only newcomer to the group is a Freshman.
