Opportunities for Youth Last year we were reviewing what we had accom- plished in the past This year we must look to the future. Not that the outlook is any brighter than last year, on the contrary ln many respects it 15 much darker, but now we are forced to look and plan for the future or Yet amld all every hand there people today than country. Thls is the young people who perlsh. the dark forebodings and strlfe on are more opportunitles for young at anytlme 1n the history of our golden age of opportunlty for all are willlng to work You do not have to search for summer employment for from all appearances the employer 15 seeking you, Part tlme and summer employment may be secured by those st1ll 1n school and those who W1Sh to contlnue in school can secure sufflclent work to enable them to con tinuo Those who are out of school or are graduating th1s sprlng wlll f1nd Jobs awalting them ln defence lndUStT1eS at excellent wages For tnose who would seek adventure or travel, the varlous branches of our armed forces beckon War tralnlng even offers many opportunltles for learnlng trades whlch Wlll be useful in after war years This 1S not only the opportune tlme for young people to secure all the educatlon possible du to flnancial pOSS1bllltl6S but thls 1S a tlme when young people must get an educatlon 1f they are gOlHU to assume the1r proper TGSp0HS1b1llt1SS 1D the re construction of war ravaged countrles at the end of this gigantlc COHfl1Ct Durlng the past decade we had a depresslon and no work, thls decade we have a war and opportunltles dlsadvantages so let us look to the future and pre pare ourselves for the lmportant tasks wlth which we shall surely be confronted MI' Howe 'N XKMQ Y 1 gf l ' T . 1 . .
