He participated in varsity football last year and won his letter play- ing end. As he was ineligible this year, Hank helped his com- pany fight for the colors by playing all inter-company sports. Walt's progressiveness in the classroom certainly has brought to himself and everyone a mark of distinc- tion, Walt has a swell personality and a good feature which so many people lack, getting along with others. We don't worry about Walt in later life, for we know he will progress as he has here. Dave Widmann comes to Farragut from Renovo, Pennsylvania. Since September, Dave has made good use of his Farragut life. Scholastically, Dave has always been in the top ten of his class Ely was very active in all intra-mural sports as he fought for the dear old band. He and his magic sax are also a part ot the popu- lar school dance band. After graduation this May, Dave plans to attend Penn State College where he will study electrical engi- neering.
