His quick wit and personality captured everyone here and are things that will never be forgotten. Three years ago, Ronnie's brother com- manded the Second Company, and Ronnie is instilled with the same desire to win as his brother was. We all wish him the best of luck in his future electrical engineering career, and we are certain that he will achieve the same success at Georgia Tech that he has attained here. The Senior class of '52 wishes you the best of luck. 0 . E QB EDWIN GUST SCHWOPPE, JR. 38545 Riverside Drive Mt. HONORS- Military-Petty Officer Third Class, 1952, Farragut Mates. 1952. Varsity Athletics-Varsity Football, 1952, Varsity Baseball, 1952, Club Activities-Monogram Club, 1952. Big Pete has been very popular since he came here this year. Everyone knows and likes Pete for his iovial manner. A foot- ball star at tackle and an outfielder in baseball, he does outstand- ing work both in classes and on the drill field. Pete plans to go to the University of Florida this Fall and will surely do as well as he has done here. So long, Pete, and may you succeed in whate er field you choo . I , L , ' f 0. Club Activities-Cotillion Club, 1951, '52, Joe is among the best-liked students in this school. He is also one of the smartest. One should have to say that about any boy that finishes a four-year high school course in two years, he is expected to be pretty brilliant. When Joe fIrst came to Farragut, two years ago, he could speak very lEttle English, but now Joe speaks English fluently and has a working knowledge far superior to that of most of the American boys, This year Joe has obtained the rank of Battalion chief, and chief of the drill team. Joe also has the Spanish romantic blood in him. In other words he is defi- nitely a ladies' man. Joe comes originally from Spain, although he now lives in Chile. He plans to continue his education within the continental limits of the United States. We certainly do wish Joe the best of everything. Buena Suerte!
