l 1 JAMES GREIDER PARTLOW 711 Pine Tree Road Winter Pork, Florida npreplf This is a good life if you can take it 3 HONORS- Military-3 P.O,, 1952. Varsity Athletics-Baseball, 1952. lntra-murals-Football, 1952, Golf Squad, 1952. Club Activities-Glee Club, 1952. Jim Partlow or Prep as he is known to us here at school, comes originally from Ohio, and after much moving has finally settled in Winter Park, Fla. Prep was very active in sports this year, his chief ones being intra-mural golf, football, and baseball. His chief hobbies are fishing, golf, and baseball. Prep made a wonderful showing in respect to school work this year and this I am sure will aid him greatly when he returns next year to take a Post Graduate Course. Best of luck to Prep from all his ship mates. Z EVANDER ALBERT PRESTON 7210 Fourth Avenue South St. Petersburg, Florida Evan Sorry, l'm all tied up Saturday afternoon HONORS lntra-murals--Weightllfting, 1951, Tennis, 1952, Golf, 1952. Club Activities-Cotillion Club, 1952. Evan is one of the fellows who goes home in the evening and comes to school after a good breakfast to take in another day. In other words he's a lucky day student. This is Evan's first year here and certainly has proven to everyone his characteristics whiCl'1 make him one of the best-liked cadets in the school. He plays O hot piano, and doesn't do bad with a tennis racket either. All of us will miss him as he journeys into the world. But we know he will always make good at the field he chooses.

He was outstanding on the drill .field as well as the classroom. This year he has earned the rank cf Ensign in the 3rd Company. Ralph always seems to be around when a good bull session is going on and when anything excmng is hclppening. Not only is he well liked by everyone in' the 's hool, but the girls around St. Pete don't exactly snub himteith . We all know that Ralph will be a big success in life. Keep OY1' going like you have here, Ralph, and you will have ci gr'e6t future. The best of wishes to you. 2905 Thirty-fourth Street N.W. Washington B, D. C. He has a great problem on his hands because he is finishing high school in three years. Our friend will have to study next summer, and we all wish him good luck. Speaking about luck, John was a wonderful pros- pect for varsity baseball but his luck failed. Because of an ill- ness, he had to leave the team. Everyone in Farragut likes John with his Yankee accent and spirit,

HONORS- Military-Petty Officer Third Class, 1952, Farragut Mates. 1952. Varsity Athletics-Varsity Football, 1952, Varsity Baseball, 1952, Club Activities-Monogram Club, 1952. Big Pete has been very popular since he came here this year. Everyone knows and likes Pete for his iovial manner. A foot- ball star at tackle and an outfielder in baseball, he does outstand- ing work both in classes and on the drill field. Pete plans to go to the University of Florida this Fall and will surely do as well as he has done here. So long, Pete, and may you succeed in whate er field you choo . I , L , ' f 0. Club Activities-Cotillion Club, 1951, '52, Joe is among the best-liked students in this school. He is also one of the smartest. One should have to say that about any boy that finishes a four-year high school course in two years, he is expected to be pretty brilliant. When Joe fIrst came to Farragut, two years ago, he could speak very lEttle English, but now Joe speaks English fluently and has a working knowledge far superior to that of most of the American boys, This year Joe has obtained the rank of Battalion chief, and chief of the drill team. Joe also has the Spanish romantic blood in him. In other words he is defi- nitely a ladies' man. Joe comes originally from Spain, although he now lives in Chile. He plans to continue his education within the continental limits of the United States. We certainly do wish Joe the best of everything. Buena Suerte!
