HONORS- Miiitary-Seccnd Cornpany, 1951, '52. Varsity Athletics-Baseball, 1951, '52 lntra-murals-lnter-company Football, 1952. Prececling mid-year examinations last year Poochie arrived at Farragut with his happy-go-lucky spirit. His spirit came iust in time to boost our spirits, they were low with pre-examination blues. Since that time, Poochie has kept up his grades, done well on the drill field, and in the Cuban bull session. Poochie was a catcher on the varsity baseball team, also participating in inter- company sports. To this fine example of Cuban manhood, good luck and smooth sailing. E63- DUANE C. Lou has had his share of trouble, and to look at him you would never believe that Lou would do anything wrong. He has a gift of gab which will leave you sometimes guessing. Besides this he has a touch of Long- fellow in him, too. He has entertained the corps before Christmas leave for the past two years with his iolly composition of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, So Lou keep on plugging and set your goal high, for we know you are capable of reaching it. Best of luck to you in the future,

Dick came to us in early September, 1950, on a bright and sunny day, and he says that since then most of his days have been just as bright, We think he has been a great asset to the school and his classmates, and come what may, Dick is always the same casual rebel from the mountains of North Carolina. Academically speaking, he has also been one of the top students during his two years here at Farragut. His free Saturday afternoons are usually spent at the Pasadena Golf Course, on or near the 19th hole. In whatever he does, we know that Dick will be a great success. So long, Casual, and the best of luck.
