Well, more or less- always ready to participate in all school activities, as his record indicates. This corner is particularly appreciative of his work as an ad solicitor for the yearbook. Hugo hails from the shores of Rhode Island, but he's more likely to be found sailing the seas. A fisherman by nature, it's not his fault that he dreams of the rolling Waters during classes. He's the best tackle this side of the Rockies, too, even though a bad ankle hampered his season. We shouldn't become serious over a fellow like the Dutchman, but his amiableness and natural kindness make him tops in our book. Chosen most popular. Clifton M. Cooley Cliff, Charley Business. I-loirnan's all-round excellence in athletics has won him a place in the minds of the corps. However, his Work in the school room ranks in the upper quarter. These are not his only achievements, as he is noted as the leader of the Pearl Diver's gang and the pride of the annex. Hoiman was tops at instilling spirit into our athletic teams, he was also voted best athlete. fa .. V f ' .Q r .. ... , .. it . Q .iw -'R 7 I it 1: 7 ggi, A' . Not a sinner, not a saint, perhaps-but the very best of chaps. His playful pranks will live in our memories. Dick is an all-round athlete, for his ability to mix sports and studies is accountable for the success he is going to be when he gets into the Coast Guard Academy. His regular features-voted the most handsome -will get the gals, but he'll be true to that one back in Manchester.
