Y a 3 Sidney B. Baxter Sid College. Company B, 3rd P. O.g Baseball '38y Wheel Watch '38, Yearbook, Editor-in-chief '38g Lapel Stars. Now if you were a Bachelor. When the newly-formed corps of Cadets came together for the first mess this September, We noticed a dignified but meek-looking individual amongst us. Surely he'd take a back seat in our affairs. What a surprise we were in for! In him we find an haranguer of no mean ability, the organizer of the United Bachelors' Union, a pitcher with a curve that turns right angles, boss of the yearbook, and, if you can get past his vocabulary, a great guy. Chosen our wittiest. H Bryon N. Bode Steve Art School. Company A, Commander, Yearbook '37, '38, Wheel Watch '37. Bang, slam, wizz-zz, bang. Steve's comic antics have kept the corps in stitches for two years now. Good fellow and cartoonist, he was also leader of Company A. Cadet photographers find him a Willing and hilarious subject, as he is the center of every crowd he is in. The responsibility of officership has done much to steady him down. Chosen the most comical.

Unassuming and friendly, Bob came to us from Freehold Military Academy without a dernerit to his name, and has kept up his good record here. On the range and on the drill field he shows his previous military experience to good ad- vantage. Where rifles or pistols are concerned, he's an encyclopedia deluxe. I-Ie's a promising aviation prospect and an expert model builder. lack Arnold Shanghai, lack Company B7 Football '38, Varsity Club '38, Boxing, Lapel Stars. What's the good of English? Directly after the fire, lack joined us after schooling in China, and has been a welcome addition, as his absence will soon prove. As every man is a doodler, so is Shanghaiy he concentrates by designing airplanes, modern- istic and otherwise. A hard-hitting tackle, member of the Varsity Club, cr good boxer, he also rates high in his studies, as his lapel stars indicate, despite having to commute.

Bartallion Adjutantg Baseball '37, Boxing, Yearbook '38, Wheel Watch '38, Glee Club '38, Lapel Stars. Stubie! Ch Stubie! Our first drill-were the old fellows surprised? Will the new fellows forget it? Out comes Brownie, unknown material, and peps up a greenhorn drill into a comparatively good one. Formerly a high school R. O. T. C. Captain, the only man for Battalion Adjutant. Quite a hand at football, until a broken arm forced him to quit. Brownie was also a humorist in his own way, and a willing and popular worker in all school affairs. .xi v Bobert VV. Chnstophersen, Ir. Chris, Swede Merchant Marine. Company C, Commander: Football '38, Varsity Club, President '37, '38g Basketball Captain '37, Baseball '37, Boxing: Wheel Watch '37, '38g Class Treasurer '38, Win- ner, Best Athlete '36-37. C'rnon, now, Mr. Stene! A grin all over his Scandinavian face, and a wisecrack to accompany it-that's our Chris. A veteran of last year's storms, we elected him our Treasurer tprobably because there was never any moneyl. Swede is serious+but not over the texts. We will always remember him doing the Big Apple, feet flying, puffing like a locomotive-and still that grin. Athlete and cartoonist.
