Irene Schipper, Beth Anderson and coach Joe Epstein. Cynthia Frosh cagers learn basics The ninth grade girls and boys basketball teams played their games in the late afternoon. The girls played in the fall on Tuesday and Thursdays, completing a 13-game schedule. The boys played in the winter on Tuesdays, Thurs¬ days and Fridays completing a 14-game schedule. Mr. Joe Epstein, a teacher from Emerson, coached both squads. The squads learned the basics of basketball with ev¬ eryone getting a chance to play. Paul Williams on defense.
