Future accountants and bookkeepers learned theory and skills that are demanded by industry, While courses such as data processing and business machines gave others the use of the efficient instruments utilized by industry. The programs of the department show an acute aware- ness of the methods and material expected by producers. By giving instruction relevant to the demands of business an effective basis for future employment is given. 47
