l in Preparin or College The National Merit Test was one test that college hound students took in their junior year. About half of the Senior Class participated in the testing. College-hound Seniors had many responsibilities to fulfill in preparation for college. It was their responsibility, with the aid of the counseling oil-ice, to meet the testing requirements and the application deadlines of their colleges and universities. Seniors desir- ing financial assistance also had to meet prerequisites for financial aid and scholarships. Whether it was the SAT, ACT, or an ad- vanced enrollment deposit, Seniors had to meet many requirements to insure acceptance and assistance.
