T ook Honors in Competition Probably the most enjoyable of all hon- ors for Stevenson students this year was the winning of the art competition awards. The awards for sculpture, paintings, jewel- ry, and many other fonns did not come as a surprise as the talent in the art depart- ment was evident to anyone who had passed the room during a school day. All of the art teachers worked closely with the students to give them the tech- niques with which they could express their creativity. Richard Magyar's photographic ability was given every opportunity to develop while he worked at the Board of Education Office. Part of the highly successful debate teams at Stevenson was Cheryl Stewart and joy Hoplamazian. The two captured many points throughout the season.
