fyf any changes have taken place since we walked through Ste- venson's doors last August. The freshmen have largely grown out of their grade school tendencies, some hundred or more sopho- mores now contribute to the traffic we curse while trying to get to school on time, half the junior class is already showing signs of “seniori tis,” and the seniors have completed their four-year stay here, having gained the knowledge and maturity that will prepare them for the future. These changes mark growth. The expansion of the building best symbolizes this growth, illustrating Stevenson s thriving pop- ulation and need for more room. But if you look closely at the new structure, you will notice that it is very different from the old. One might term it more “modern. “ What we are witnessing is progress. Stevenson has overcome many obstacles in becoming the fine institution it is today. Trac- ing those steps from twenty-two years ago makes that change more appreciable.
