Mr. Nowicki, Ms. Williams, Mr. Cotterman, Mr. Hanson Business Department The program of the Business Department is designed to help students become more efficient consumers and more efficient producers. Economics is the only course required for graduation. Other courses are elective and allow the individual to choose those which best meet their needs for either personal-use or for entry into the job market. BUSINESS DEPARTMENT ART DEPARTMENT Ms. Tauchas Art Department Over 200 students are enrolled in the 5 elective courses offered by the Art Department. The activi- ties are directed by one full time teacher and two who divide their teaching day equally between art and physical education. The de- partment is small, but a wide range of art experiences, both two and three dimensional are available within the program. A small but active group of art stu- dents is voluntarily involved in school service art efforts such as sign and poster painting and stage scenery. There are several stu- dents doing independent studies in art, two of whom are gaining in- teresting experience as teachers aides. Mr. McAvoy Mr. Machamer
