Mary Krecilla-Guard Mary was noted for her ability to dog her forward. It took a very clever forward to get away from her and there were very few who could do so. This was her first and last year with Adena and proved a very valuable one. The team will miss her next season. Viola Moreland-Guard Viola was tall and very hard to shoot over. She is only a Freshman but played a dependable game for her first year. Viola liked to rough it up and the harder they came the harder they fell. She should be even better next year. Kathryn Heath-Guard or Forward Small but mighty was Katie. She always did her best when sent in a game. If her opponents thought they had something easy they soon changed their minds. Katie will be a valuable player to next year's team. Alameda Wonnacott-Guard Alameda could always be depended up- on to give her best. That best was usually good enough to hold her forward to few baskets. She was a good passer and work- ed well in team play. We may expect to hear more of Alameda next year. 201 ni 12 3 ri 12014110101411111-11.ri:xtuiuluxuzui-'Qui 1 -14-30: -21 11-15011-3 ri 3

She was high scorer for the team and was feared by her opponents. Unluckily she was declared in- eligible in the latter part of the season and was greatly missed by her team mates. Sara Moscrip--Forward Here is the peppiest and hardest fighter on the team. She was largely instrumental in working the ball under the basket for a shot. After the loss of Babe, Sally became the mainstay of the team and collected a majority of the team's points. Sara Bleakmore-Forward Sara is another Freshie who made good this year. She did not play as a regular but was in enough games to gain valuable experience. Sara is a good shot as well as a good floor player. No doubt she will star next year. Nancy Shearer-Forward Although not a regular, Nancy fitted in well with the first team. She was a good passer and a fair shot and could be expect- ed to do her share toward winning a game. She was great for team play and seldom shot unless she was open. This was Nar1cy's last year with Adena. 30101011u:n101u1n1u1fnxuxiix.11011vtnxuxuxuxnii-141:-ax:I1-mxini-11411-ud0n101.,g1 1,

xxzwa-.cnszsinxs isiiulzxruxsinzn xvvcbuinqsnzxzics up :co-1-11111111 Anna Sawko-Guard Anna came from Short Creek with liitle experience but showed up well at prac.ice. It look a good farwatd to get away from her long' enjugzli to score. We regret that Anna leaves us this year for she would have developed into a real guard in an- other year. Vera Sloan--Guard Vera was a scrappy little player. This was her first year and she was green but learned fast and earned her letter. She loves to play the game and in another year will be on the lirst team. Vera is a good passer and defensive guard, F J I Bernice Buchanan-Center Bernice had the build for center and played the position well. Of course she was inexperienced but in another year, should show much improvement. She never took time to shoot and thus didn't make a large percentage of her shots. But watch her smoke next year. Manager Sloan The girls had to shift for themselves un- til this year when Anna Mae shouldered the burden and proved herself a desirable and necessary quantity. She was always on deck when needed and kept the girls new- ly acquired dressing room locked up, making certain that all equipment was in safe keeping. She will he missed next year. vi ua :antininiain11bizvi:limrimviz111114vilviclivrink:hislimvinrinmini:xioiuqgniuioioi
