1 Illini! iibill li li lilWilIf'iiIl?4lf4lQ4Il0Q0i4ll4l10l010i P10101 Clillliililbilxi In the fall of 1926 a class of more than fifty members entered A. H. S. It has ever since been distinguished for its energy and enthu- siasm, its class spirit and its famous athletes. Naturally it was young and green. But it did as other classes have done and will continue to do after it: outgrew its infancy. The short period of two years has passed, only to give this Sopho- more class of twenty-nine members an opportunity to grow, to advance and to attain. Gradually the number diminished, some leaving during the Freshmen year, others in the second year of their High School ca- reer. Some of their vacancies have been Iilled by new class mates, coming from other schools. Now that their buds of greenness have burst forth and they have spent two years of, earnest effort in unfolding these tender petals they are truly hoping to be Jolly Juniors in full bloom. We trust that none of this promising class will have fallen in their steady march toward SUCCESS and that they will give us cause in '31 to be proud of them.
