president President Gladys Scipian, a graduate of Chicopee High in Massachusetts, has made a success of coordinating the largest class in Adelphi's history. Nursing is the big mo- ment in her life, but she draws the line at dissecting cats. Marge Lampasona came to Adelphi via Sewanhaka High. As vice-president of the class she takes over when Gladys gives out. Marge freely admits her passion for Sinatra - oh! those freshmen! Anne Powers, cute secretary of the class, is recognized as one of the best dancers among the frosh. She's usually seen at every college dance with a new boy in tow. But she has serious moments, too, especially when it comes to Biology exams. Another New England frosh is treasurer Martha Wilson, who hails from Hamden High in Connecticut. Marty's main preoccu- pation is in writing. She says it's unreadable trash, but we've heard otherwise. x ec- trc,ri ilcnt V. . secretary c tre ussier

Despite the fact that an imaginary rabbit—guess who?—is their mascot, the Freshman class is defi- nitely very much here! The largest class ever to enter Adelphi, they are working hard to prove that size is no handicap to spirit and have managed to make an auspicious start toward being real Adelphians.

The class with the talent. That’s the unofficial label of the Sophomore class. Their entrance into Adelphi was marked by an unprecedented wave of enthusiasm which will undoubtedly carry them through their next few years at college. They are very much in evidence at all college functions and have displayed a seemingly endless winning streak in inter-class competition.
