How well we all remember rehearsing for one of the greatest moments of our lives: The day we first set foot in Adelphi Academy. As freshmen, and later, as sophomores and juniors, we all faced the same problems, learning through painstaking experience the role that must be played. But when the curtain opened in 1956, our eyes were glowing. We had passed the test. Nevertheless, as seniors, we found that a star's life isn't easy. There were College Boards to be conquered, and school tests-and more school tests. What have we gained from all our hard work? In these four years, we have delved into many subjects and taken part in many extra-curricular activities. In short, we have grown up. Best of all, we have made friendships-friendships we are sure will be everlasting. The applause is now deafening, it assures us our performance was truly great. Our prize, the valued HOscar,,' four diplomasj, is about to be awarded. Up to now, this is the high point of our livesg only one thing remains to be done: to wish our fellow classmates-and those who will come after us-- the best of luck! LESTER LEVINE Twenty-two
