CLASS HISTORY OF l9ll9 I95O ln the balmy month of September l9-46 green but eager freshmen started out our hugh school career un room l5 un der the watchful eye of Mr Lundrugan our advusor for the year Lyle Ross was elected Presudent to guude the class through that furst crucual year wuth Joe Pellucano as vuce presudent and Peggy Chart as sec retary treasurer Actuvutues of the year consusted of a wuener roast on the pun nacle and two class partues one at Chrust mas the other on Valentunes Day June wuth uts tradutuonal exams soon rolled around and most of us were now Sopho mores Summer vacatuon passed all too quuck ly and soon some of us were gathered un room l9 wuth Mr Sadler as our class ad vusor and the rest of us un the typung room wuth Mr Harruson At the furst class meet ung John Crane was elected presudent June Fedchock vuce presudent and Anna Hougf talung was appounted to keep our lumuted funancual resources and notes un order We of course had to have the tradutuonal fall wuener roast thus year at Luttle Nuagara Other actuvutues of the year uncluded a class Chrustmas party and a Halloween party wuth dancung and refreshments The next fall found us back at AC S as Junuors Thus year we had Mr Sadler as our advusor agaun un room 19 We came to realuze that our hugh school years were half gone wuth the best two years stull ahead of us so we settled down to do some work both for ourselves and the class Keuth Allen was elected presudent for the year wuth Keuth Jones as vuce presudent and Dolly Beers as secretary treasurer Our annual wuener roast was combuned wuth a hay rude that year and was held at Bear Falls A class Chrustmas party was held and we uouned forces wuth the Senuors to put on a Junuor Senuor prom the se and un several years due to the war Thus prom wasn t a bug success from a funancual standpount but a large crowd was there and a lot of good wull was buult up The next September soon rolled around ard 35 of us tramped up to the balcony whuch was to be our headquarters for the year wuth Muss Neely as advusor Thus was our Senuor year the year we had spent ll years workung up to wuth uts promuse of graduatuon and the Senuor trup We really had to dug un to keep up our school work and stull put on actuvutues to earn money wuth whuch to go on the Washungton trup Some of these actuvutues uncluded the Senuor Play the Sadue Hawkuns dance sellung Chrustmas cards and statuoruery several un formal dances and varuous other thungs all put on for the purpose of makung money The year soon passed and the supreme mo ment of graduatuon was at hand So our hugh school years passed and found us go ung out to take our places un the world and there us just a shade of sorrow un our faces as we go out the doors of AC S for the last tume as students The class affucers for our Senuor year were Keuth Jones pres udent Donald Cornush vuce presudent and Eluzabeth Stuart as secretary treasurer 1 r I - I I .
