“Senior Hisiioryo' if On September 8, 1953, the now Senior Class entered their first year of high school with twenty-three members. During the sum er we lost two members-- Joy whitmer and wayne lawrence. John Watson later moved to Conesville, we gained Nova McGlothin from Zanesville. We all came through initiation and then to work. At our first class meeting we elected officers. They were: President, Lester Proutyg Vice President, Jerry Hern: Secretary, Carol Hnyleg Treasurer, Barbara Stalnaker. Student Council members were: Charlene Oliver and Helen Hlttle when on September M l95U we came back, we found we had lost Dale Hayes and later gained Peggy Hambrick from Hopewell Our class officers for the year were President, Lester Prouty Vice President, Jerry Hern Secretary, Rich ard Bagent Treasurer, Patty Hatfield Patty was also elected class queen Helen Hittle was chosen as cheerleader We are all looking forward to being Juniors On September 6 1955 twenty tuo students entered their Junior year of high school we lost two students Helen Hittle and Carol Hayle They are both married we gained Elizabeth Durbin from New Concord The third week school we elected class officers They were President, Richard Bagentg Vice President, Charlene Oliver, Secretary, Barbara Stalnaker, Treasurer, Jerry Hern Student Council members were Patty Hatfield, Violet Gross and Gerald Bissonette Elizabeth Durbin was elected class queen Patty Hatfield was chosen as varsity cheerleader we ordered our class rings and received them in January The class play 'The Adorable Ilp' was given on April 27 under the direction of Mrs Boyer May found us getting read for the Junior Senior Banquet The fall months were spent getting the Annual material read for the oress It was distributed in the early part of March As the last year of school life rolls around we find we have twenty four mam bers we lost Elizabeth Durbin and gained Jean Calihan, Nancy Hoover and Bob Shultz from Zanesville, Laurabelle Heck from Chandlersville In September we had the pleasure of initiating the Freshmen Our class officers for the year were President, Charlene Oliver Vice President, Dave Bradford Secretary Dorothy Dayton Treasurer, Barbara Stalnaker Student Council members were Jean Calihan Richard Eagent and Jerry Hern Jean Calihan was also elected our class queen Early in the year we ordered our name cards and invitations We had our graduation pictures taken in September After Christmas we pre- entec our class play 'The Boarding House Reach' under the direction of Hrs Cochran Our Senior trip will be another big event in our life Me have worked hard this year holding dances and various other events, trying to get enough money together for the trip Hrs Patton has been our home roam supervisor and Mr Hemry our class advisor we are all looking forward to Baccalaureate and Commencement 3 .f 'u,, ,f A ag? f ff '.
