SECOND ROW: Mrs. Evans, Gene Coleman, Robert James, Delbert Brock, Gary Geyer. THIRD ROW: Martha Gress, Ioye King, Jane Hatfield, Donna Young, Ann Browning, Coleen Jordan. FOURTH ROW:Gail Prouty, Homer Green, George Foster, Donald Knicely, Donald Knirely, Stanley Matchett. On September 4, 1951, twenty-two students entered their first year of high school. Two new members had joined the class, Anne Browning and Marilyn Browning. Both had formerly attended school at Nashport, We also lost two members of our class. Helen Harmon and Nova lsautzenheiser, There were few exciting incidents that took place this year, although initiation will be well remembered by all the class. On initiation day, the girls were found wearing rnen's pajamas, knee-top boots and felt hats. The boys were dressed as girls, wearing earrings, necklaces, sun bonnets and their pants legs rolled to their knees. The class held an election the first of the year. Elected were Delbert Brick, president, Coleen Jordan, vice-president, Stanley Matchett, secretary, Eura Hatfield,treasurer, Helen Jennings and Gene Coleman, student council, Some of the boys in class are reoresented on the basketball team, Delbert Brock, Gary Geyer, Gail Prouty, George Foster, Gene Coleman and Paul Knicely are taking active parts in the basketball games. The freshman girls are all active inthe Home Ec, Club, which was formed this year, Every one came through initiation and semester exams, l think everyone learned quite a few things, although they are not always aware ofthe fact, Coleen Jordan i
