Madaline Parrish, who wanted votes, was elected Queen. 25 1 The Student Council sponsored Twirp Week from March 23 to 27. The week featured a different activity for each day of the week and was climaxed by the Sadie Hawkins Dance on Friday night. A J? . M . Ql- The assembly included marionette skits and Broadway dance routines. The Adamson ROTC had their annual federal inspection on Monday morning before school. The group rated top in the city. On Wednesday, the yearly Career Clinics were held here at school. This year was a huge success and helped many students decide their profes- sions. EKU? - APRHL The National Honor Society initiated fifty-three new members on the assembly. 1 T The coaches presented an assembly in honor of all the athletes at Adamson. Each one was recognized and some presented their letter jackets. 21 1 The down town branch of the library came to the school and conducted a book fair for the seniors. The purpose of the event was to acquaint them with young adult reading. The library was set up as a carnival and each assistant conducted a different type of review. The seniors learned many new things about adult reading. Many learned to appreciate books.
