Parent-Teacher Association xi THE oAK If 3 A vision without a task is a dream, A task without a vision is drudgery, A vision with a task is the hope of the worldf' During the past year it has been the aim of the Oak Cliff High Parent-Teacher Association to stimulate in the hearts and minds of its mem- bers a new and common interest in the influences surrounding the youth of today. Through the program, they have tried to awaken a feeling of personal responsibility in the home, school, and community and to stress the relationship each bears to the other in the life of the child. They had the vision and the task was at hand. We are blind until we see That in the human plan Nothing is worth the making if It does not make the man. Why build these cities glorious If man unbuilded goes, In vain we build the world unless t The builder alsoagrowsf' ag -wg' I va Sv 1 i
