In the fall quarter the Glee Club sang for one of the College Assemblies and took part in the Christmas program. Later in the year, the Glee Club pre- sented a program for the Alamosa High School Assembly and one for the College Assembly. The Women's Glee Club sang for both the Vesper and Commencement services in the spring. The major social event took place when the members of the Glee Club entertained their guests at a waiile supper on March 5. Page 62

Under the supervision of Miss Elizabeth Dow, new advisor and director of the Club, the Mimes carried through an intensive pro- gram of play production. Two of the outstanding presentations oi the year were 'i'VV'lf1y the Chimes Rang, well-known Christmas play which has been estab- lished as an annual production of the school, and Dear Brutus, a delightful fantasy by Sir lames Barrie. A capable production stall which evolved many new and unusual effects in lighting and scenery added to the success achieved by the organization.
